Table Metrics

  • PPS (Points Per Start): A much more indicative metric of a player’s true value, as very rarely will we every start players in fantasy when they’re not in the real-world starting XI.

  • gPPS (Ghost Points Per Start): A measure of the average points a player accumulates from actions other than goals, assists, and clean sheets.

  • GACS% (Goal, Assists, Clean Sheet %): A measure of the percentage of a player’s fantasy points that come directly from G, A, CS.

  • Starts: The number of real-world games a player started in the Premier League.

  • Fpts: Total fantasy points scored, which does include points they might have scored in sub appearances.

  • WAR (Wins Above Replacement): Originally a baseball stat, this metric calculates a player's value over an average, replacement-level player off the waiver wire. Scores range from -0.13 to 3.80.

  • RkOv (Rank Overall): A player's end-of-season rank among all players based on total fantasy points.

  • Big 3 ADP (Average Draft Position): Within the Draft Community, there are 3 ultra-competitive leagues open to anyone looking for a challenge: The Community League, The Discord Super League, and the International Genie League. We display the average draft position of players using the average of these 3 leagues to represent where plugged in, knowledgeable managers drafted certain players.

Leeds United

# of Top 20 Fantasy Performers: 0

# of Top 50 Fantasy Performers: 2 (Stach, Calvert-Lewin)

# of Players w/ 2500+ mins: 6 (Ampadu, Rodon, Struijk, Bogle, Calvert-Lewin, Gudmundsson)

What an adventure fantasy managers had in 25/26 with Leeds United players. After being promoted, the team acted quickly to bring in reinforcements, many of which (in retrospect) saw the club punching way above their weight class. The likes of Stach, Calvert-Lewin, Bijol, Gudmundsson, Justin, Olafor, and Longstaff all became instant impact players for the club, leading them to eventual safety in the Premier League. Aside from Lucas Perri, it’s hard to point to another miss from the Leeds scouts in 25/26. On the pitch, under Daniel Farke’s leadership, the team played some dramatic, energetic, and often chaotic football which translated into a surprising wealth of fantasy points for Draft managers. More shocking was the fact that the vast majority of these points were scored by Leeds defenders despite the team conceding 56 goals and keeping only 8 clean sheets. Aside from Stach and DCL, the midfield and attack was largely a letdown for Draft managers, which we don’t anticipate changing much in 26/27 barring a change in team tactics.

Top Fantasy Performers

At Elland Road, this season was all about one man… at least where fantasy managers are concerned. Anton Stach announced himself to the Leeds faithful and to Draftheads alike on GW1 with an assist and a boat load of ghost points as a bonus. This became his norm until he battled injury for a stretch of the season. Despite only starting 28 games, Stach finished 22nd overall in total Fpts, a truly impressive feat. Calvert-Lewin finished 40th overall, which is respectable. Largely, this came as a result of goal contributions, as you’d expect from a FWD. However, he often provided a decent points floor, avoiding complete busts for your fantasy team. Finally, the Leeds DEFs (Ampadu, Bijol, Justin, and Gudmundsson) were all usable for most of the season, averaging between 8 and 10 PPS. Some managers rolled them out weekly, taking their lives into their own hands as the inevitable negative score was always a possibility. But largely, these Leeds boys brought managers fantasy success more often than not in 25/26.
