Waiver Wire Gameweek 34
Here we outline our Fantasy EPL Gameweek 34 Waiver Wire targets that are 40% rostered (ROS) or below on Fantrax. These players should perform well over the upcoming period!
Jaydee Canvot (Ros 9%)
Prospects: I’ve featured him more than once in these posts now! The young defender who came in from Toulouse and has really grown into the position after a shaky first couple of starts. The signs of a ghoster were always there, but he’s truly blossomed lately, earning consistent starts since Guehi’s departure to City. Palace are practically on the beach in the league, but that hasn’t stopped him from putting up solid scores regardless of clean sheets. He also has a DGW on the horizon. Up until Arsenal in the final gameweek, I’d be starting him in all of them, maybe even that last one too if Arsenal are already on the beach, for better or worse. Across his last eight starts, he’s averaging right around 10 points per game.
Verdict: I would use any waiver pick or 3-4 FAB to get him.
Keane Lewis-Potter (Ros 23%)
Prospects: That’s now four straight starts for KLP. His scores in those four are 12, 13, 10, and 9. He’s recorded at least one key pass in two of those, and two in another, with all four being 90-minute outings. Brentford have simmered down and now have drawn four straight fixtures, but they continue to be a solid ghosting team. Their remaining fixtures are mixed in terms of favorability, but I’d still run out KLP as a MID4 or MID5 depending on your lineup.
Verdict: I would use any waiver pick or 0-1 FAB to get him.
Igor Jesus (Ros 36%)
Prospects: The Brazilian came in for an unfortunately injured Chris Wood in the fixture vs Burnley. He totaled 15.5 fantasy points and grabbed himself a goal in the 4-1 rout of the Clarets. If the injury to Wood is significant, then Jesus could become the sure-fire number 9 in a Forest team that is inching ever closer to safety. They have Sunderland, Chelsea, and Newcastle coming up, all sides I’d be comfortable streaming Jesus against.
Verdict: I would use any waiver pick or 0-1 FAB to get him.
