Recently, TDS organized the first EPL Draft mock draft of the 26/27 season through Fantrax. We got a handful of veterans from the Draft Community together to give it a go. This article will analyze briefly the results of that mock draft. Mock drafts, to any uninitiated, are a fantastic way to gauge changes in player valuation from last season, as well as to begin to tweak your draft strategy. The Draft Society's Early EPL Draft Expert Mock Draft

As mentioned, we believe that mock drafts are an incredibly important way to prepare yourself to dominate your league in the coming 26/27 EPL Draft fantasy football season. As we're quite early in the summer at this point, a lot will change with new transfers and preseason matches to analyze. As such, this mock draft analysis will look at this draft from largely a team construction standpoint. Rest assured that we will have further articles that look at player valuations in a more round-by-round format. This article will aim to analyze each team in this draft, discuss the decisions they made in each round, and assess how they contributed to their overall team makeup.


As with most drafts, this one operated in a serpentine format, which means that the first round goes from pick 1 to pick 12 and the second round goes in reverse order. This is designed to try to ensure that there is parity in the league. However, we're already seeing some cracks in that assumption, as the first two picks feel quite OP (over-powered) this season. But, after that first round, how did these managers fare? Let's dive in!
