Tottenham Sleepers

As noted above, these are potential Fantrax Sleepers from Tottenham Hotspur. These Fantasy EPL players are likely to be drafted in the later rounds. Read below for three under the radar players who could provide excellent value in your pre-season draft.

Lucas Moura

Position: Midfielder

20/21 Points: 165

20/21 Points Per Start: 10.2

Recommended Draft Pick: 109 to 132 (12 Team League: Round 10-11)

Overview: Moura has struggled to lock down a consistent role in the XI since his arrival at Spurs. If no new signings arrive, that can very much change this season.

With Bale leaving, and no new wingers on the way, Moura could very well find himself given a run in the XI to start off the season. Lucas will always be remembered for that incredible Champions League hat-trick, one that almost had me becoming a Spurs fan! In the EPL he hasn't been able to find a consistent run of form, but has the talent to do so. Lucas has been slipping to as late as round 16 in mock drafts, but could very well be value as a MID5 in round 10. The major risk is obviously playtime, there is a chance Nuno buys another winger/forward and Lucas becomes a super sub once again. When he starts I do believe Lucas has the upside of a MID2, but is usually a prime candidate to be subbed off first. Still I would much rather draft Moura as a punt over the safe bets of Rice or Jorginho at this stage in the draft. If Lucas manages to get 25+ starts then he would be an absolute steal in these rounds.

Sergio Reguilon

Position: Defender

20/21 Points: 189.75

20/21 Points Per Start: 7.3

Recommended Draft Pick: 121-144 (12 Team League: Round 11-12)

Overview: Reguilon had a horrid end to the season, but could thrive if Nuno chooses to use a wingback system at Spurs.

Reguilon seemed like a brilliant signing for Spurs, but really hasn't lived up to the hype both in fantasy and reality. There is every chance he has a stormer of a 2nd season, but my expectations would place him at a lower end DEF2/3 in Fantrax. Reguilon is a lot more clean sheet reliant than Aurier or Doherty mainly due to the way Spurs were set up. Depending on how much freedom is given to Reguilon to go forward, that could very well change. In mock drafts I have seen Reguilon fall as far as round 15, but I would be tempted to draft him if he fell to me in round 12. His upside is better than other defenders who fall in that round such as Boly, Keane, and Fofana. If Spurs manage to improve defensively under Nuno and sign a new CB, we could witness Reguilon's full potential that Spurs fans have been waiting for.

Giovani Lo Celso

Position: Midfielder

20/21 Points: 90

20/21 Points Per Start: 5.5

Recommended Draft Pick: 121-144 (12 Team League: Round 11-12)

Overview: Struggled with injuries over the past two seasons, but should be given a chance to stake a claim for a spot in the XI.

Lo Celso has never been an amazing fantasy asset, but he has to the talent to be a high upside MID4 if he gets the minutes. One of the biggest issues with Lo Celso is he cannot stay healthy. He is always picking up minor injuries that ruin his run of form and prevent him from seriously locking down a role in the XI. He and every Spurs fan will be hoping this season will be different. I wouldn't be surprised to see Lo Celso make the XI for the first few games, and with that said he is definitely worth a punt in the late rounds. When he starts he does take some set pieces, and with a proper CB to aim for those could turn into some more key passes or even assists. Personally I believe Ndombele and Lo Celso will be battling for one spot, but I think I would bet on Lo Celso to win that battle.
