Gameweek 14 Waiver Wire

Here we outline Fantasy EPL Waiver Wire Targets that have 40% rostered or below on Fantrax. These players should perform well over the upcoming period!

Romain Perraud

Position: Defender

Team: Southampton

Rostered: 15%

Next Fixture: CRY (A)

Prospects: The Southampton wing-back is at the forefront of the mini-revolution at Southampton which has seen them remain unbeaten in the last 3 games, not in small part thanks to Perraud's goal and assist over the 3 games. He was likely dropped in most leagues for the game against Arsenal, but Palace away seems like a good enough fixture to bring him back into the fold. He is nailed on, attacking, and on a hot streak.

Verdict: I would use a low-end waiver claim or 0-3 FAB to get him.

Leander Dendoncker

Position: Midfielder

Team: Aston Villa

Rostered: 6%

Next Fixture: NEW (A)

Prospects: They truly wanted Gerrard out, didn't they? What a liberating performance Villa put together against Brentford over the weekend. Dencdoncker, an afterthought in the Gerrard era, started in place of McGinn and bossed the midfield on his way to 7 points. He is not going to light up your team fantasy points-wise, but if you are short on numbers in midfield he is a steady pair of legs.

Verdict: I would use a low-end waiver claim or 0-3 FAB to get him.

Jordan Henderson

Position: Midfielder

Team: Liverpool

Rostered: 26%

Next Fixture: LEE (H)

Prospects: The days of Henderson being considered a "never stream" have long been over. His RCM role in past years has evolved so that it is not uncommon for him to pop up just outside the box to whizz a shot across goal. or curl a cross into the corridor of uncertainty. He is also an able deputy to step back into the RB slot left open by a marauding Trent to be able to pick up defensive ghosts on occasion. This description may have painted a picture of a fantasy stud. That he is not. A decent streamer against lesser opposition, for sure.

Verdict: I would use a low-end waiver claim or 0-3 FAB to get him.

Eddie Nketiah

Position: Forward

Team: Arsenal

Rostered: 20%

Next Fixture: NOT (H)

Prospects: We were all anticipating a cheeky yellow for Jesus at the weekend to guarantee an Eddie start against Forest, but it wasn't to be. Jesus did look a bit sluggish and less his penetrating self though, so Eddie might get the chance to prove his worth even without the suspension, so he is worth a speculative add for the weekend. The suspension for Jesus is also still in the air, too.

Verdict: I would use a low-end waiver claim or 0-3 FAB to get him.
