Gameweek 16 Waiver Wire

Here we outline Fantasy EPL Waiver Wire Targets that have 40% ownership or below on Fantrax.  These are the low ownership players who could perform very well over the upcoming period!

Alex Telles

Position: Defender

Team: Man Utd

Rostered: 28%

Next 3 Fixtures: NOR (A), BRF (A), BHA (H)

Prospects: There have been a lot of changes in the United starting XI since Ole left but this one was originally out of necessity. After 2 concussion scares in 2 games, Shaw had to sit out. In came Telles, and he has not looked back ever since. Just like with AWB and Dalot, I expect last season's stalwarts to be given a chance to prove themselves, but, until then, Telles should benefit from the easy schedule ahead.

Verdict: I would use a mid-tier waiver claim or about 8-10% of my FAB on Telles.

Jakub Moder

Position: Midfielder

Team: Brighton

Rostered: 3%

Next 3 Fixtures: TOT (H), WOL (H), MIN (A)

Prospects: Another not widely known Brighton mid emerges from up Potter's sleeve. We saw glimpses of the Pole's ability last season, but it is in the last few games that he has really staked a claim to be included in the starting XI in the long run. Potter clearly does not have the trust we do in Pascal Gross and Moder could benefit not only in minutes played, but in set-piece duty as well.

Verdict: I would use a low-end waiver claim or about 0-1% of my FAB on Moder.

Ayoze Perez

Position: Midfielder

Team: Leicester

Rostered: 7%

Next 3 Fixtures: NEW (H), TOT (H), EVE (A)

Prospects: Leicester just cannot put a string of good results together however hard they try. Rodgers continues to use binary tactics, but he has finally tried to experiment with personnel change. Harvey Barnes' rich vein of form will most likely prevent Rodgers from changing AGAIN to the 2-striker set for the weekend, so if he wants to make a change to improve his Foxes' fortunes, it will most likely come at the right-wing spot, and an underwhelming Lookman could make way for Ayoze.

Verdict: I would use a low-tier waiver claim or about 0-3% of my FAB on Perez

Matej Vydra

Position: Forward

Team: Burnley

Rostered: 1%

Next 3 Fixtures: WHU (H), WAT (H), avl (A)

Prospects: Now this is a left field punt, but with Cornet looking like he is out for a considerable amount of time, that FWD spot besides Wood will be open for competition. You most likely do not have to bid on Vydra, maybe you will be able to pick him up at the weekend if he starts, but definitely keep an eye out for him, as the upcoming Burnley schedule is looking decent.

Verdict: I would use a low-end waiver claim or about 0% of my FAB on Vydra.
