Gameweek 18 Waiver Wire

Here we outline Fantasy EPL Waiver Wire Targets that have 40% rostered or below on Fantrax. These players should perform well over the upcoming period!

Trevoh Chalobah

Position: Defender

Team: Chelsea

Rostered: 34%

Next Fixture: NOT (A)

Prospects: Potter is going to rotate, that is for sure. With James out again, we are probably going to see the strange and surprising defensive personnell and formations we had gotten used to in the autumn already. Chaloboh could be one of the beneficiaries of the shifts in defense, but this shout might as well have been any of the starting Chelsea DEFs, be it Hall, Sarr, Chaobah or anyone else. Forest isn't very likely to score, so you are banking on a very liekly clean sheet here.

Verdict: I would use a low-end waiver pick or 0-3 FAB to get him.

Jaidon Anthony

Position: Forward

Team: Bournemouth

Rostered: 8%

Next Fixture: CRY(H)

Prospects: I shouted out Moore in the article on Fantrax HQ and putting Anthony in here as the plague hitting forwards will have left a lot of managers in need of starting forwards. 2 red cards against Fulham have left Palace frighteningly short-staffed at the back, so Bournemouth have a chance to get a few goals and a result to jump above the South Londoners.

Verdict: I would use a low-end waiver pick or 0-3 FAB to get him.

Samuel Edozie

Position: Forward

Team: Southampton

Rostered: 4%

Next Fixture: FUL (A)

Prospects: The youngster's name had been whispered on the Draft Society corridors for months as a must-pick-up once he finally gets a start and he duly delivered. In a humbling against RDZ's Brighton, he was able to put up 10 ghost points and he would have gotten the assist for JWP's pen as well had he scored it first time. Southampton might be at the bottom of the table, but there is fantasy value left in the team, so don't sleep on them.

Verdict: I would use a low-end waiver pick or 0-3 FAB to get him.

Chris Wood

Position: Forward

Team: Newcastle

Rostered: 21%

Next Fixture: LEE (H)

Prospects: Wilson's illness will most likely afford the lanky Kiwi another chance to impress in the extremely well oiled machine that is Newcastle right now. He scored a penalty to start the demolition of Leicester on Boxing Day and he will be hoping to continue his scoring against injury-hit and generally pretty bad Leeds.

Verdict: I would use a low-end waiver pick or 0-3 FAB to get him.
