Gameweek 26 Waiver Wire
Here we outline Fantasy EPL Waiver Wire Targets that are 40% rostered or below on Fantrax. These players should perform well over the upcoming period!
Tariq Lamptey
Position: Defender
Team: Brighton
Rostered: 23%
Next 3 Fixtures: WHU (H), lee (A), CRY (H)
Prospects: Estupinan has a knock that may keep him out of the fixture this weekend. If so, Lamptey has a good chance of coming into the starting XI v. West Ham. If it's a serious injury for Estupinan, Lamptey will be a good one to roster for the next few weeks, which includes at least one and potentially two DGWs.
Verdict: I would use a low-tier bid (0-3% FAB).
Mohamed Elyounoussi
Position: Midfielder
Team: Southampton
Rostered: 7%
Next 3 Fixtures: LEI (H), mun (A), BRF (H)
Prospects: While the Saints are struggling, their fantasy assets aren't as doomed as the team is in real life. Enter Elyounoussi, who has shown glimpses in the recent past, and seems to be a fixture in the new manager's plans. He has a decent upside and usually a floor of around 5-7 points, which in a given GW is not worthy of a roster spot. But it is in a DGW, which is forthcoming in GW 27.
Verdict: I would use a low-tier bid (0-3% FAB).
Jordan Ayew
Position: Forward
Team: Crystal Palace
Rostered: 28%
Next 3 Fixtures: avl (A), mci (A), BRI (H)
Prospects: Ayew is a such a fickle mistress. He can drop a dozen ghost points out of nowhere just as easy as he can completely blank. He has been doing more of the former lately - dropping 11 ghost points in back-to-back GWs. If he keeps his spot, and he should, then he is the perfect player to field in a DGW (coming next week).
Verdict: I would use a low-tier bid (0-3% FAB).
Jeffrey Schlupp
Position: Midfielder
Team: Crystal Palace
Rostered: 5%
Next 3 Fixtures: avl (A), mci (A), BRI (H)
Prospects: Ole Jeff is in the same boat as his compatriot above but is usually more likely to pop up for a goal or assist. He has been favored of late over Eze and Palace have nicked some results, so this should continue. Like nearly everyone else in this article, he is a good option for the upcoming DGW. His colleague, Cheick Doucoure, is a nice albeit less upside/more solid alternative if Schlupp isn't available or loses his spot before the DGW.
Verdict: I would use a low-tier bid (0-3% FAB).
