Fantrax Fantasy EPL Positional Changes 25/26

For the 25/26 season, we have suggested (and managed to push through) a couple of player position changes to better reflect the realities of real-life players. In this article, you will be able to check out what changed. As for new players entering the league and promoted players, as always, we have opted against meddling and will observe positions in real life, suggesting changes next season onwards.

Positional Changes

Due to a number of factors, a handful of players saw their positions changed in Fantrax default leagues this season. Mostly, you'll notice a move from FWD to MID for a few wingers. This creates a bit more simplicity and uniformity across the fantasy game at that position. Plus, it addresses a lack of depth in the midfield pool felt by most fantasy managers last season.
