Waiver Wire Gameweek 16

Here we outline our Fantasy EPL Waiver Wire Gameweek 16 targets that have 40% rostered or below on Fantrax. These players should perform well over the upcoming period!

Dean Huijsen (Ros 18%)

Prospects: We have been touting the young Spanish-Dutch CB for a few weeks now. Senesi is out and the former Bianconero is doing everything right to keep Senesi out of the team long term. He followed up his goalscoring outing midweek with a very commendable 7.75 against Ipswich at the weekend. He is tall, he is agile and he loves to get forward. what more could you want? Decent fixtures too? You got it: West Ham, Man United, Palace, Fulham, Everton are coming up.

Verdict: I would use a mid-tier waiver pick or 4-6 FAB to get him.

Kevin Schade (Ros 37%)

Prospects: I usually try to mention players who might be available to pick up in many leagues, but inevitably I am almost always unable to use my own advice as none of the players I have in the article are available in any of my 3 leagues. comes with having uber-competitive leagues. This time, however, I am happy to report, that despite his 50-pointer 2 gameweeks ago, he was dropped in 2 of my leagues, so I am going in! The young German needs no introduction on these pages, just a reiteration that he is on red hot form as he got a goal as a sub this weekend to make it 4 goals and 1 assist in the course of a week.

Verdict: I would use a mid-tier waiver pick or 8-10 FAB to get him.

Dango Outtara (Ros 20%)

Prospects: Another player Sanjy and myself have been on about a lot recently, Dango has been coming up with the goods for Bournemouth late on in the last couple of gameweeks and I hope he has done enough to earn a start after effectively single-handedly turning last weekend's game against Ipsiwch around. We have already mentioned the fixture list, which makes him even more of a good pickup to stash for the festive run.

Verdict:  I would use a mid-tier waiver pick or 6-8 FAB to get him.

Jacob Greaves (Ros 8%)

Prospects: Greaves came back with a bang from injury in GW14 but was a sub at the weekend, so even if he was picked up, surely, he was dropped for Burgess. The CB spot they share seems to be a source for points regardless of who actually plays there, so if in fact Burgess continues to keep Greaves out, pick him up instead.

Verdict: I would use a low-tier waiver pick or 1-2 FAB to get him.

Cameron Archer (Ros 5%)

Prospects: Spurs are a shambles right about now and while I think they will manage to stop the rot somewhat and get a win next weekend, I highly doubt that they will keep a clean sheet. They have only kept 1 (against Man City) since September and with their 2 first-choice CBs reaggravating injuries last weekend, I doubt they shut up shop against Southampton. Archer looks to be the most likely of all Saints attackers to get on the end of a counter, so I am going with him, but I don't hate starting Dibling or Armstrong either.

Verdict: I would use a low-tier waiver pick or 0-1 FAB to get him.

Tariq Lamptey (Ros 17%)

Prospects: 2 starts and 2 double-digit scores for the young wingback so far this season. He achieved last weekend's score with a golazo off his weaker foot against Leicester. Brighton seem unable to see out games, which shouldn't be an issue for those picking up Laptey, because, he is unlikely to last more than 70 minutes. You might end up banking a CS before the team he left on the pitch collapse again in the dying minutes.

Verdict: I would use a low-tier waiver pick or 0-1 FAB to get him.
