This article will focus on trade advice that highlights players that are either worth trading in on a low, or trading out on a high. This could involve players who could see their minutes reduced, have a purple patch come to an end, or on the flip side involve players who might be starting to heat up. This article will also feature advice and strategy tips from our very own Draft Genie, and his interesting style of playing the game.

Players To Trade-In
This section will focus on players to target in your trade offers. Usually there are two types of players to trade-in. The ones you "buy low" on, who may be in a poor patch of form, injured, or not seeing consistent minutes with all that about to change. The second is where you "buy high". While that will sound contradictory, these players could be showing no signs of slowing down and are en-route to a breakout season. You want to try and trade-in these players before they become unattainable, even if it involves offering more than what their draft-day or early-season value was.
Bukayo Saka (ARS - MID)
Analysis: Full disclosure - this spot was supposed to belong to Nicolas Jackson, but news breaking of him being out until April had me forced into a last minute swap. Saka has been seen in some form of training and could be back within the next 6 weeks. Arsenal have lost Kai and Martinelli in the last few days, and are desperate for Saka's return. We know in the past Saka has played through anything so seeing him ready to go a week or two "ahead" of schedule wouldn't be of any surprise.
Saka is the best player in the game maybe outside of Palmer and Salah, and as long as he can regain his momentum should be a set and forget MID1 for the last month or so of the season. Depending on the manager you may need to offer a bit more to get Saka, but now is the time to try and bring him in, before more positive recovery news starts to break. If the manager with Saka has been struggling in recent weeks they may be more inclined to sell.
Trade Offer Value: Look to offer solid assets such as: Bruno G, MacAllister, Collins, and Wissa in deals for Saka. If you need to step it up players like Diaz, Enzo or Szobo may get it done.
Crystal Palace Defenders
Analysis: Palace defenders have been doing well as of late. Since the start of 2025, Munoz has been the top defender, with Lacroix (5th), and Richards (7th) also in the top 10. Guehi (11th) and Mitchell (16th) are still in the top 20. Palace are also about to enter an incredible run of fixtures with Everton, Fulham, Villa, Ipswich, Southampton, and Brighton as their next 6 games. It is time to buy in!
Munoz will be the most difficult to get for obvious reasons, but outside of Trent and Robinson, I would try to use any other defender in a deal to bring him in. The two I am mainly looking to target are Lacroix and Richards. These guys are racking up points and are very dangerous from set-pieces. Both also have respectable ghost points per starts with Lacroix averaging 7.4 gPPS, and Richards averaging 5.7 gPPS across the season but 7.7 in his last 6. Both of these assets should not be too expensive to bring in, and may even be on your waiver wire. If so, pick them up! When it comes to Guehi and Mitchell, I consider both as elite streamers. While I am not actively looking to bring those two in, I would be tempted if you can get them for a few FAB especially for a player you are potentially debating on dropping, like Branthwaite. Be warned though, Chilwell is ready for minutes according to Glasner, and Mitchell could find himself in a tough spot. Chilwell is definitely worth a grab or a low-ball trade offer given his recent transfer. Munoz aside, bringing in these assets could be a short-term 6 to 8 week play but at this point in the season, bringing in a potential DEF-2 for the price of a DEF-4 could help you secure some much needed wins as we get closer to crunch time.
Trade Offer Value: As mentioned above for Munoz, try packaging some defenders such as: Tarkowski, Collins, and Gvardiol with a MID-5 like Rogers. For Richards/Lacroix, you may be able to get away with giving up around 10 FAB and selling the other manager the idea of FAB being pivotal for DGW waiver pickups. For player value, look to give up assets like: Burn, Leif Davis, Ait-Nouri, Kovacic, and Gravenberch.
Players To Trade-OUT
This section will focus on players that you should be actively trying to trade out over the next week or so. These players could be on course to see a minute reduction or be having a bad season that it seems they can't recover from. A lot of times name value players will feature here, as you will still find managers who believe they can return to their glory days. Each season brings new challenges and as we have seen even the very best assets can fall off a cliff in just a single season (Rashford of 2024). Look to trade out these players before their value becomes so low that you may need to consider dropping them.
Luis Diaz (LIV - FWD)
Analysis: After an incredible start to the season, it is safe to say Diaz has cooled off. The Colombian scored 20+ points in 3 of his first 5 starts, but since then has only scored 20+ once, which came during the 6-3 thrashing of lowly Spurs. He has failed to register a single double-digit score since the New Year, and could be set for rotation for the rest of the season, especially with Jota back fit. Gakpo has clearly made that LW spot his own which means that Diaz, Nunez, and Jota are all competing for one spot. Right now that spot belongs to Diaz, but as we have seen this season, the Liverpool No. 9 position is not great for fantasy, which is shocking for a team that is currently top of the table. However, with Salah carrying the burden and Slot using his wingers more, the lack of ghost points and poor finishing from the Liverpool strikers means that they can be extremely frustrating fantasy assets to own right now.
Diaz should be considered a sell now. Liverpool are entering a second double gameweek in GW25, and his value will be much higher before the gameweek with many managers keen to load up on DGW assets. If he comes out of that DGW with two more single digit outings, he will be a tough sell as I fail to see Diaz catching that early season form again. Although he plays for Liverpool and could have a monster game or two during the rest of the season, it still won't be consistent enough to make him anything better than a lower end FWD-2 at best.
Trade Offer Value: I would offer out Diaz for lesser name assets that are currently proving set and forget upside players. Dango is one who I have seen traded out for Diaz, and right now he would be a great acquisition for Diaz. Other players to look at include: Semenyo, Gibbs-White, and the rotational KDB. You may need to add a sweetener with Diaz to get these assets, so consider tossing in 5-10 FAB or a DEF-3 such as Ait-Nouri.
Bernardo Silva (MCI - MID)
Analysis: Silva is a mainstay for Pep's Man City squad, but that doesn't seem to be a good thing for fantasy managers right now. Silva has scored 5 or fewer points in all of his starts in 2025, despite playing 90 minutes in each of them. Right now, City struggling isn't helping Bernardo's upside. While he is considered as a set and forget midfielder for many managers due to name value alone, he really isn't proving to be better than a streamer in recent weeks. City are coming up against Newcastle, Liverpool, and Spurs (who always seem to give them a fight). These are three tough games where I wouldn't be surprised to see Bernardo score under 6 points in.
He has a solid ghost points per start this season of 7.8, but in his last 6 games that number is really only 6.1. With only 6 returns so far this season, he is proving be a very frustrating MID-4 more than anything. The best you could hope for is selling him on his name value to someone who believes that Man City will turn it around, and him playing a crucial role. Look for a manager who rosters rotational City assets such as Savio, Marmoush, Doku, and KDB, as he/she would be good options for trade targets. For Bernardo, managers will value him differently, so try to aim for lesser name value players, but settle for those who are churning in the points.
Trade Offer Value: I would try to offer out Bernardo + a MID-5 such as Ramsey for assets like: Dango, Tielemans, and Enzo. If you need to "aim lower", look to assets like Mateus Fernandes, Christie, and a deal involving a Palace defender such as Richards/Lacroix.
Iliman Ndiaye (EVE - FWD)
Analysis: It's not that I don't think he will be a solid ROS player, but Ndiaye has 3 goals in his last 3 games which is a prime example of a sell high asset. He is showing to be a set and forget FWD-3 with consistent FWD-2 upside. After 3 goals in 3 games though, you have to think that you can upgrade to a more stable FWD-2, or even to a FWD-1 with a more lucrative package.
His ghost points were very solid vs. Spurs (11.5) and Leicester (12.25), but they were non existent vs. Brighton. Spurs and Leicester are both struggling right now so it is hard to tell if those performances are Ndiaye showing his new potential level of ghost point production or it was just because he faced two terrible teams. Probably a mix of both. The schedule does get (slightly) harder for Everton as well, with games vs. Palace, Man United, and Brentford. I do think his goal production is unsustainable, especially on a relegation threatened team, but Ndiaye is not a panic sell if you can't find an upgrade on him.
Trade Offer Value: I would try to offer out Ndiaye + 1 for forwards such as: Jackson, Gakpo, Havertz, and Savio. The +1 should be players like Sancho, Rashford, and Rogers.
