Waiver Wire Gameweek 30

Here we outline our Fantasy EPL Gameweek 30 Waiver Wire targets that are 40% rostered (ROS) or below on Fantrax. These players should perform well over the upcoming period!

Alex Jiménez (Ros 32%)

Prospects: The Spaniard has averaged just over 8 fantasy points across his last four starts. A couple of those fixtures included clean sheets against West Ham and Brentford. He’s recorded two key passes across his last two matches and is essentially playing close to 90 minutes every game. I’d be comfortable starting him in your backline for the rest of the season, aside from maybe the Arsenal and City fixtures in that stretch. I think the Cherries might be set to improve overall with regards to their fantasy output to end the season after watching their performance against the Bees.

Verdict: I would use a low-tier waiver pick or 1-2 FAB to get him.

Leon Bailey (Ros 12%)

Prospects: Villa are in the middle of regressing back toward their mean after back-to-back losses to Wolves and Chelsea. They’re not looking great at the moment, but the fixtures turn favorable after a visit to Old Trafford in GW30. Bailey appears to be getting more starts recently, and while an 11.75 with an assist against Chelsea isn’t overly exciting, many managers are grasping at straws at this point in the season, so he could be worth a go especially in deeper leagues.

Verdict: I would use a low-tier waiver pick or 0-1 FAB to get him.

Djed Spence (Ros 29%)

Prospects: I’m going to skip the roast of Spurs that seems to be taking over most footy conversations these days and focus on the fact that they simply have to turn things around. I’m not sure where the fantasy points will come from, but the left-back is someone I’m hoping for. This is a future gameweek play, Suprs face Liverpool next, but after they should have a run of salvation in their fixtures, including Forest, Sunderland, Brighton, and Wolves. The cards are stacked in their favor, and I don’t mind taking a punt on someone who should see some attacking play.

Verdict: I would use a low-tier waiver pick or 0-1 FAB to get him.
