Waiver Wire Gameweek 31

Here we outline our Fantasy EPL Waiver Wire Gameweek 31 targets that have 40% rostered or below on Fantrax. These players should perform well over the upcoming period!

Sepp Van den Berg (Ros 6%)

Prospects: After missing Gameweeks 26 to 28 due to injury, Sepp has managed to find himself a starting spot in the Bees XI again after displacing Ajer for the right back spot. It was business as usual for the ex-Liverpool DEF with another decent score against Newcastle (9.75 ghosts) and you can probably expect the same from him ROS as he has been ticking along with 8.3 gPPS all season. A pretty handy DEF-3/4 for any roster.

Verdict: I would use a low-tier waiver pick or 0-1 FAB to get him.

Kostas Tsimikas (Ros 16%)

Prospects: It was pretty odd to see Curtis Jones deployed in the right-back spot given the injuries to Trent and Connor Bradley, especially given the fact that Tsimikas is two-footed and Quansah did reasonably well after coming on against PSG and was decent in the Cup final too. While Liverpool kept a clean sheet against Everton, it was far from convincing. While Robbo wasn't bad, a change might happen either side of the back 4.

Verdict: I would use a low-tier waiver pick or 0-1 FAB to get him.

Niclas Füllkrug (Ros 22%)

Prospects: The newest member to be hit by the West Ham number 9 curse, the German has struggled all season with form and especially with injuries. Last GW he came on and impressed, so this mention is a vote of confidence for him to build on his impressive cameo and make a final push ROS.

Verdict:  I would use a low-tier waiver pick or 2-3 FAB to get him.

Patrick Dorgu (Ros 30%)

Prospects: Back from his 3 game suspension, Dorgu reiterated the fact that he looks like the only player on the United roster who actually naturally suits the role Amorim wants him to play. The young attacking wing-back got a double digit score despite defeat to Forest and while traditional wisdom and projections suggest to bench him Vs City I would be ok to start him especially as this may be the last opportunity to get him cheaply.

Verdict: I would use a mid-tier waiver pick or 2-3 FAB to get him.

Matt O'Riley (Ros 4%)

Prospects: These last 2 players are pure punts with good upside. Firstly O'Riley will be the first to admit that he has failed to live up to the hype that surrounded him as he was brought in. Despite showing glimpses of his talents, he failed to consistently produce performances that would help him nail down a starting spot. Rutter's season ending injury Gruda's inefficiency and Brighton's defeat all make me hope that O'Riley gets a chance in the derby this weekend.

Verdict: I would use a low-tier waiver pick or 0-1 FAB to get him.

Matheus Franca (Ros 1%)

Prospects: From one derby punt to another, the Brazilian youngster is back after a long injury and he got the last minute equaliser midweek in a lacklustre performance against bottom of the league Saints. Brighton up next after a short turnaround and a third game in a week might throw up some surprises and I am hopeful Franca has done enough for Glasner to take a punt on him.

Verdict: I would use a low-tier waiver pick or 0-1 FAB to get him.
