Ollie Watkins

Essential reading before your weekly waiver requests process!

Waiver Wire Gameweek 32

Here we outline our Fantasy EPL Waiver Wire Gameweek 32 targets that have 40% rostered or below on Fantrax. These players should perform well over the upcoming period!

Ben Godfrey (Ros 5%)

Prospects: After being hit with a points deduction at the back end of last year, Everton have had to claw their way out of the relegation zone and currently sit 4 points clear of Luton Town (18th place). However, rumours are floating around of another possible points deduction for the Toffees, so Dyche and his team will need to earn as many points as possible from their remaining games, especially this weekend against relegation rivals Burnley. According to our Fixture Difficulty Tracker, Everton DEFs have the best rated fixture this gameweek of all defenders and one asset that has caught the eye in recent games has been Godfrey. In Everton's last 6 games, Godfrey has been a mainstay, playing near 90 minutes in each match. Although Everton did not keep a clean sheet during this run of games, Godfrey still managed to score a respectable amount of points, averaging just under 9 ghost points per game.

Verdict: I would use a low-tier waiver pick or 0-1 FAB to get him.

Jhon Duran (Ros 6%)

Prospects: Aston Villa are having a phenomenal season and are currently vying for a Champions League spot. One of the main reasons for their success has been the form of Ollie Watkins. However the English FWD recently picked up a hamstring strain which opened the door for Duran to lead the line. Gameweek 31 saw the Colombian striker start only his 2nd game of the league campaign, which resulted in a goal against the Champions Manchester City. Duran has now scored 3 goals over 336 minutes of football, which averages out to just under a goal per game. The Villans face Brentford in GW32, a team that is in dire form, winless in their last 8 games, while conceding 16 goals in the process. In fact, only Luton, Burnley and Sheffield United have conceded more goals than Brentford this season. If Watkins is still out, this fixture is a great opportunity for Duran to get more attacking returns.

Verdict: I would use a low-tier waiver pick or 0-1 FAB to get him.

Adam Smith (Ros 5%)

Prospects: In the last 4 matches, only Arsenal and Liverpool have won as many points as the Cherries (10 points) in the league. Bournemouth have had a fantastic season under Iraola thus far and there are no signs of their progress slowing down. The opposite can be said for their opponents in Gameweek 32, Luton Town, who are winless in their last 10 matches. Bournemouth earned their 7th clean sheet versus Glasner's Eagles during the midweek fixture and will aim to register their 8th shut-out this weekend. Although Kenilworth Road has been a tough venue for visiting teams, managers can still rely on Smith for points as he has been scoring well even in games that Bournemouth have conceded goals. In Smith's last 3 games, he has been averaging 8.5 ghost points per game and seems to be a nailed option especially given the uncertainties around starts for Kerkez, Senesi and even Mepham.

Verdict: I would use a low-tier waiver pick or 1-2 FAB to get him.

Lyle Foster (Ros 16%)

Prospects: Burnley are currently undefeated in their last 4 games (1W-3D). The Clarets face Everton in Gameweek 32 and the Toffees have actually been the worst team in the league over the same period (1D-3L, 8 goals conceded). There is a slight chance Burnley could stay in the league and that possibility will only be improved if Burnley can earn more points from their matches, which means they need to score more goals. Foster seems to have shaken off his ailments from earlier in the season and has now started back-to-back matches for the first time since Gameweek 22. In his last 2 games, Foster scored 17.5 FPts in 153 minutes which equates to just over 10 FPts per-90-minutes. This was also all ghost points! If Lyle can keep his starting spot, he is an easy FWD-3 pick for any roster.

Verdict: I would use a low-tier waiver pick or 1-2 FAB to get him.

Justin Kluivert (Ros 30%)

Prospects: After notching his 5th goal of the campaign off the bench versus Crystal Palace, Kluivert is now the Cherries' 3rd highest goalscorer for the season. In Gameweek 32, Bournemouth visit Luton Town and they will fancy their chances of scoring against the Hatters, a team that has conceded the 3rd most goals this season. Last time these sides faced each other, we witnessed a 7 goal thriller! Although Kluivert does not ghost particularly well, the Dutchman has now scored 3 goals in his last 7 appearances and will fancy increasing his tally versus the Hatters, who have only kept 2 clean sheets all season.

Verdict: I would use a low-tier waiver pick or 0-1 FAB to get him.
