Waiver Wire Gameweek 33

Here we outline our Fantasy EPL Waiver Wire Gameweek 33 targets that have 40% rostered or below on Fantrax. These players should perform well over the upcoming period!

In Double Gameweek 33, Arsenal, Aston Villa, Crystal Palace, and Manchester City will each play two matches. This double gameweek will be followed by a Blank Gameweek 34 for the same four teams.

Here's a more detailed breakdown:

Arsenal: Will play at Ipswich and host Crystal Palace.

Aston Villa: Will host Newcastle and play away at Man City.

Crystal Palace: Will host Bournemouth and play away at Arsenal.

Man City: Will play at Everton and host Aston Villa.

Simon Adingra M-BRI (Ros 42%):

Prospects: The Ivorian winger has been one of my favorite streamers since he joined Brighton. He hasn’t been able to lock down a starting spot this season, but has looked great when he does get a place in the XI. He got the start last week vs Leicester at home and drew a pen for Brighton’s first. He was able to rack up 21 in 81 minutes. Remember, he also had a goal disallowed vs Villa a couple of gameweeks back. Mitoma has not been seen in training this week, so Adingra could be in line for a start away at Brentford on Saturday. Brentford certainly haven’t been the same powerhouse at home since that start-of-the-season form. Shout out to Nordsjælland.

Verdict: I would use a mid-tier waiver pick or 4-5 FAB to get him.

Jakub Kiwior D-ARS (Ros 25%):

Prospects: The Polish CB could be in line for a full 180 minutes in Arsenal’s double gameweek starting this weekend. Scores of 3.25 & 6.25 don’t entice much over his last 2 starts, but double gameweek fixtures against Ipswich and Palace do. Fun Fact: The North Island brown kiwi has the largest egg-to-body ratio among birds, with its egg weighing between 15% and 22% of its body weight. Also known to pocket Mbappe.

Verdict: I would use a mid-tier waiver pick or 4-5 FAB to get him.

Stephy Mavididi F-LEI (Ros 34%):

Prospects: Mavididi ended Leicester’s eight-game Premier League goal drought by scoring in their 2-2 draw against Brighton last gameweek. He faces Liverpool next, but after that, Leicester's next matches are against WOL/SOU/NOT/IPS/BOU. Solid run of fixtures for him and a Leicester team that won’t just give up the season, as shown vs Brighton. The concern is him getting relegated to the bench, but after his positive start last week, I don’t see that happening.

Verdict: I would use a low-tier waiver pick or 2-3 FAB to get him.

Stefan Ortega G-MCI (Ros 8%):

Prospects: There are no solid reports of Ederson’s groin injury, but he is set for scans/tests this week. Anything even remotely serious could be enough for Ortega to have to fill in for the City double gameweek (and beyond). The Everton fixture in the double gameweek offers the most likely game for a Clean Sheet.

Verdict: I would use a low-tier waiver pick or 0-1 FAB to get him.

Alex Moreno D-NOT(Ros 9%):

Prospects: He didn’t get the match vs Villa in Aina’s absence but he did see a start vs Everton. He played well enough to get 13 ghosts (4 KP) and was so close to having 6 more with a clean sheet. We should see him start again vs a Spurs side, that is happy to let fantasy points rack up for opposing teams. Depending on Aina’s injury we could see him start even beyond this weekend.

Verdict: I would use a mid-tier waiver pick or 6-7 FAB to get him.

Nico O'Reilly M-MCI (Ros 16%):

Prospects: Nico is a semi-exciting pick based on the double gameweek and City’s recent form. He’s got 3 straight starts and has scored well in those, even grabbing a goal last game vs Palace. The concern is obviously the number of starts for the young England international, but I expect at least 120 minutes from him in the double gameweek. I would lock him in if he starts vs Everton.

Verdict: I would use a mid-tier waiver pick or 4-5 FAB to get him.

Amad Diallo M-MUN (Ros 62%):

Prospects: Can it be? The prince that was promised? Amad broke many hearts this season after looking like this year's late draft/waiver steal of the year. Amorim was quoted this week saying "Amad is not ready for this month, but we hope to have Amad still this season.". If you’ve got the room for him, 2-3 starts at the end look possible. United end the season vs West Ham(H), Chelsea(A), and Villa(H).

Verdict: I would use a mid-tier waiver pick or 4-5 FAB to get him.
