Waiver Wire Gameweek 4

Here we outline our Fantasy EPL Gameweek 4 Waiver Wire targets that are 40% rostered (Ros) or below on Fantrax. These players should perform well over the upcoming period! For paid members, I've included an additional section this week where I quickly outline some additional pickups I'm less confident on, but still eyeing, after the weekend's fixtures. Additionally, check out for the last transfers article from @DraftLad for more details on deadline day deals so you can place your bids and claims accordingly.

Yeremi Pino (Ros 2%)

Prospects: The Spanish winger comes in as the assumed Eze replacement. At just 22 years old and hailing from Las Palmas, he brings considerable pedigree, with a standout record at Villarreal, including a UEFA Europa League title in 2021, and recognition at various levels of the Spanish national team. He was touted as a top prospect but is said to have lost some of his edge after an ACL injury. He's also not positionally a natural replacement for Eze and would actually likely bring something new to the side tactically, rather than more of the same. Last season he had 8 PPS (Points per start) and 6gPPS(Ghost Points per start) in La Liga. He also had 4 goals and 9 assists across all comps. He had a lively debut on Sunday v Aston Villa, bagging 5 points in just 18 minutes. *Note that Pino reportedly exited the Spain squad during IB with an ankle related knock and Palace have also signed Christantus Uche to compete in attack.

Verdict: I would use a mid-tier waiver pick or 20-25 FAB to get him.

Bafode Diakité (Ros 10%)

Prospects: Diakité joined from Lille recently for around €35 million, making him the club’s second most expensive signing. He's built a reputation as a strong, quick, and versatile defender capable of playing both centrally and at right-back. He comes in to reinforce Andoni Iraola’s backline after key defensive departures. He's already seen 3 starts this season. After a negative fantasy performance in GW1, he has followed that up with scores of 12.75 & 13.5, both with clean sheets. The Cherries may be more defensively sound than many suspected after this summer's transfer moves and have a fine run of fixtures coming up.

Verdict: I would use a low-tier waiver pick or 0-1 FAB to get him

Sasa Lukic (Ros 6%)

Prospects: With a couple of first-team regulars dropping out due to form and injury, Lukic has taken on a larger share of set-piece duties. Since stepping into that role, he’s delivered scores of 8.25 and 9.5, both coming in full 90-minute performances. Notably, the 9.5 outing came against Chelsea, where he posted three key passes. Lukic also flashed strong ghost-point potential on sets last season, and with Fulham’s favorable upcoming fixtures, he profiles as a sneaky short-term pickup.

Verdict: I would use a low-tier waiver pick or 3-4 FAB to get him.

Enzo Le Fée (Ros 24%)

Prospects: Enzo was perhaps the most highly drafted Sunderland player on your draft board. He likely only got drafted after Adingra, who he replaced on the LW in the 2-1 win at home vs Brentford. He made the most of his first 90 minute start, scoring 19 points with a goal (a penalty). I think he keeps his spot as Sunderland continue their favorable fixture start this season. In the Championship last season he posted 10 PPS/9 gPPS.

Verdict: I would use a low-tier waiver pick or 5-7 FAB to get him.
