Waiver Wire Gameweek 6
Here we outline our Fantasy EPL GW6 Waiver Wire targets that have 40% rostered or below on Fantrax. These players should perform well over the upcoming period!
Antonio Silva (Ros 33%)
Prospects: Antonio Silva hasn't missed a minute all season for Bournemouth, five starts, five 90s, and 7.25 points in the loss at Liverpool last time out despite the scoreline. Although Chelsea next does not necessarily make a clean sheet likely, Silva's been able to carve out some decent ghosts besides Hill to be valuable enough as a DEF3. Nailed minutes, decent ghosting ability could help you out if you are strapped for defenders.
Verdict: Low priority, $1 FAB.
Wesley Fofana (Ros 24%)
Prospects: Wesley Fofana has started every game since the injury layoffs that used to define his Chelsea career became a thing of the past, four from four, 10.75 points in 70 minutes away at Brentford before being withdrawn. Bournemouth come to Stamford Bridge next, and while Chelsea are leaking goals, Fofana has been able to ghost well enough to be valuable. I also think that this 3 week break (almost as long as the summer break for some) will provide some much-needed time for Alonso to shore up the defense a bit.
Verdict: Low priority, $1-3 FAB.
Dara O'Shea (Ros 11%)
Prospects: Dara O'Shea keeps doing what he always does, after a bit of a wobble, he is back to his ghosting ways. 14.25 points in the defeat at Everton. Fulham visit Portman Road next and O'Shea should be value as always. 6 aerials, 5 clearances, 2 blocked shots. Call him Tarks light and ride until the wheels fall off.
Verdict: Low priority, $4 FAB.
