Genie's corner is back with a "hot takes segment". Here are some of my more out there opinions for the upcoming Fantasy EPL season, as well as my reasoning behind them. Obviously these are just my opinions, but the hope is my reasoning will force you to at least reconsider your own stance, and maybe even agree with me. Draft Season - Hot Takes for 25/26

Genie is here with some hot takes as we head into the all-important Draft Season! While most of these takes may be out there, some takeaways and food for thought will hopefully help you craft your upcoming draft strategy.

Last season some of the "hot takes" turned out to be more than right. Wirtz was not a top 5 midfielder, plenty of late drafted/FA level defenders finished in the top 10 in their position: Guehi, Senesi, Truffet, Van Hecke, Williams, O'Reilly, and Mukiele all made the top 10. Of the four predicted flops we could say three ended up far below everyone's predictions (Iwobi, McNeil, and Damsgaard). Let's see how accurate this year's Hot takes are.
