Pascal Gross
Position: Central Midfielder (M in Fantrax)
Team: Brighton
Signed From: Borussia Dortmund for €2m
Prospects: The 34-year-old German is back where he belongs. Groß spent seven seasons with Brighton before returning to Germany for a season and a half at Dortmund. He started 28 matches in 2023/24 as BVB finished fourth, but his minutes dropped this season after falling out of favor with Niko Kovač and being overtaken by younger midfielders. Seeking regular playing time, he’s returned to the South Coast.
During his previous Premier League stint, Groß was an elite Fantrax midfielder, driven by chance creation, set pieces, and heavy minutes.
