As the great Cave of Wonders in Aladdin once said: "Find me the diamond in the rough." Well, I am here to do just that. There are a few players worth monitoring over the summer ahead of the next Fantrax EPL campaign for various reasons. Fantrax Diamonds in the Rough
Check out Genie's early look into some under the radar Fantrax EPL gems ahead of the 24/25 season! Without further adieu, here are Genie's Fantrax Diamonds in the Rough.
Romain Esse
Team: Crystal Palace
Position: Midfielder
Recommended Round to Draft: 13-15
Prospects: Esse is one of many starlets in the Palace squad, who could follow in the footsteps of Olise and Eze. He signed in January last season from the Championship, and just managed the one start. In that one start, though, he did manage 22 points with 2 assists. He has shown flashes of brilliance from the bench for Palace, and is really one to keep an eye on in preseason. A lot of his value will depend on whether he can get into the side. Esse is a winger, who would need some serious performances or a formation change to see consistent XI minutes with Sarr and Eze ahead of him. However, his other route to the XI could come in the form of an Eze transfer as rumours that Frank wants him at Spurs start to heat up.
