Gameweek 24 Waiver Wire

Here we outline Fantasy EPL Waiver Wire Targets that have 40% rostered or below on Fantrax. These players should perform well over the upcoming period!

Luke Ayling

Position: Defender

Team: Leeds

Rostered: 25%

Next Fixture: EVE (A)

Prospects: The Leeds fullback was in the Honourable Mentions section in this week's Ghost Point Hunters article by our favourite jet-setter and with good reason. He is presenting himself as much more of a value hold/pick up than a simple DGW stud. He got 12 ghosts against United and is facing an Everton side missing DCL and generally not great at attack. He might just prove to be a long term hold.

Verdict: I would use a mid-range waiver pick or 5-7 FAB to get him.

Hamed Traore

Position: Midfielder

Team: Bournemouth

Rostered: 15%

Next Fixture: WOL (A)

Prospects: The fourth Traore in the league this year has been a ghost point magnet in his first 2 starts in the league. Not only that but he has actually played quite well in real life helping his team to a very solid draw against high-flying Newcastle. We have been fairly quiet about him since we had him pegged as a dark horse in our Transfers article series as we needed to see how he adapted to the EPL. We can report: it was seamless. The next question is, can him and Tavernier co-exist? The upcoming Bournemouth schedule is brutal, so if you can pick him up and play him against Wolves, I would look to trade while the gameweek is ongoing.

Verdict: I would use a mid-range waiver pick or 5-7 FAB to get him.

Crysencio Summerville

Position: Midfielder

Team: Leeds

Rostered: 29%

Next Fixture: EVE (A)

Prospects: Cree was back starting the United double-header after missing most of the post-WC play and boy, was he back to his best. Constantly in and around the action, he got 8 and 8.5 in the 2 games recording 3 shots on target and 3 successful dribbles in the second of the 2 matchups to round out a great ghost point performance. There is still a lot of uncertainty around Leeds and it will remain until the new permanent manager is announced and bedded in, but Summerville has been good enough to get a chance under whoever comes in. He is definitely a long-term pickup.

Verdict: I would use a mid-range waiver pick or 5-7 FAB to get him.

Dango Ouattara

Position: Forward

Team: Bournemouth

Rostered: 38%

Next Fixture: WOL (A)

Prospects: Just like Traore above, Dango has been one of the great Bournemouth January signings. The Burkinabe forward now has 2 assists in 3 games and is looking like the bright spark the attack needed to kick their survival campaign into gear. The fact that he managed to get 7.5 in a game against Brighton, where he had no Key Pass and only 1 Shot on Target speaks volumes about what he does on the field, being just the right thing for Fantrax scoring to generate ghosts. With no impediment to playing time, and his points not being tied to set pieces, if you can weather the storm of the fixtures after Wolves, you should be celebrating a very shrewd acquisition if you can pick him up this week.

Verdict: I would use a mid-range waiver pick or 10-15 FAB to get him.
