Fantrax EPL: Gameweek 6 Perfect XI

The Perfect XI format of Fantasy EPL on Fantrax is going to take the community by storm. Fact. Our good friends at DPLCommLeague have brought the concept over to Fantrax, and it is sensational. We're here to provide Draft Premier League managers with our very own Perfect XI tips for each gameweek. Details of the concept and rules can be found here!

Check out DPLCommLeague for further information on the format, regular updates on the latest standings, as well as information on how you can enter.

Fantasy EPL Gameweek 6 Perfect XI

So, what is Perfect XI? Similar to Official Fantasy Premier League game, all managers have full access to the entire player pool each week, meaning multiple teams within the league could be completely identical. The main departures from OFPL are the Fantrax Default Scoring, unlimited transfers each week, no budget/salary cap, and live lineup changes available. This means that each week you can select a dream team of Fantrax assets who you think will score the most points on a given gameweek, and have the added bonus of being able to see the real life lineups before your players lock in. Magic.

Check out our Gameweek 6 Perfect XI tips below. These are our recommendations for the best eleven players this weekend! Picks are now accompanied by our weekly projections, which our Inner Circle members can exclusively access.

GK: Alisson

Team: Liverpool

Opponent: Brentford (Away)

Projected Fantasy Points: (GK projections coming soon)

The Thought: Liverpool are in fine form defensively and could see another clean sheet here. Alisson usually racks up a few counting stats as well which could see him post another 14+ score against a very inconsistent Brentford team. Pivot: De Gea

DEF: Trent Alexander-Arnold

Team: Liverpool

Opponent: Brentford (Away)

Projected Fantasy Points: 14.2

The Thought: Trent might as well be set and forget in this format! He is set to return from his minor illness and will be well rested and ready for the match vs. Brentford. I wouldn't be surprised to see him get an attacking return and a clean sheet here, and could be on for a 20+ score.

Pivot: Virgil Van Dijk, Andrew Robertson

DEF: Luke Shaw

Team: Manchester United

Opponent: Aston Villa (Home)

Projected Fantasy Points: 11.1

The Thought: Shaw has started to hit the heights of last season since Ronaldo rejoined his old team. Shaw has a near monopoly of corner kicks and with Varane, Maguire, Pogba, and Ronaldo to aim for he should see plenty of key passes. United have struggled to keep clean sheets, but with Aston Villa missing Bailey I do like their odds here for a clean sheet. With a clean sheet and some ghost points Shaw could exceed his project fantasy points this week. Pivot: Michael Keane

DEF: Ricardo Pereira

Team: Leicester City

Opponent: Burnley (Home)

Projected Fantasy Points: 11.5

The Thought: A bit of a differential here, but one with a ton of upside. Ricardo has struggled this year with minor injuries and rotation, but should be in the XI this weekend. Burnley have struggled for goals this season, and Leicester have struggled for clean sheets. I would back Leicester here to turn things around. Ricardo will be high up the pitch in this one and if Lookman gets the start at RW could see an increase in key passes. Pivot: Shane Duffy

MID: Andros Townsend

Team: Everton

Opponent: Norwich (Home)

Projected Fantasy Points: 12.1

The Thought: Townsend has provided great value in all of his starts this season, and will be looking to add to his goal tally against a relegation bound Norwich. Townsend will also see his fair share of set pieces and will rack up a decent floor in this friendly fixture. Even without Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison, I expect Everton to score a few goals here. Pivot: James Ward-Prowse

MID: Bruno Fernandes

Team: Manchester United

Opponent: Aston Villa (Home)

Projected Fantasy Points: 16.1

The Thought: Bruno is projected to score the 2nd most fantasy points this week. He continues to shine week in and week out, and could be in for a big score here after being rested midweek. The likes of Pogba, Ronaldo, Greenwood, and even Sancho will all be looking to make amends after United's cup exit, and Bruno could see quite a few key passes in this one. Pivot: Paul Pogba

MID: Harvey Barnes

Team: Leicester City

Opponent: Burnley (Home)

Projected Fantasy Points: 12.0

The Thought: Could this be the week Barnes gets his first EPL attacking return? I surely hope so, after being rested in the midweek cup game, he should be locked into the XI this weekend and hungry to improve on last week's performance. Barnes was at fault for multiple disallowed goals in Leicester's loss, and will be looking to put a few in the net that actually count this weekend. Pivot: Lookman

MID: Allan Saint-Maximin

Team: Newcastle

Opponent: Watford (Away)

Projected Fantasy Points: 11.2

The Thought: Saint-Maximin is at the top of his game, and shows no indication of slowing down anytime soon. Without him, Newcastle would be in some serious trouble, and they will need him to step up once again this week. He should rack up his usual ghost points through dribbles and key passes, and potentially get a return against a very poor defensive side. Pivot: Jarrod Bowen

FWD: Mohamed Salah

Team: Liverpool

Opponent: Brentford (Away)

Projected Fantasy Points: 16.2

The Thought: Salah has the highest projected fantasy points of this week, and should be set and forget at this point. The Egyptian is in fine form, and going without him in any week he plays could seriously hurt your Perfect XI rank. Pivot: Sadio Mane

FWD: Michail Antonio

Team: West Ham

Opponent: Leeds (Away)

Projected Fantasy Points: 14.4

The Thought: Antonio is very well rested after being suspended last weekend, and rested again midweek in the cup, and could see quite a few returns this week. Leeds are very depleted this weekend, especially defensively, and Antonio will be looking to pounce on this opportunity. The West Ham striker has been one of the best players in the EPL this season, and will be hoping his form, and hamstrings last for a long time. Pivot: Adama Traore

FWD: Jamie Vardy

Team: Leicester City

Opponent: Burnley (Home)

Projected Fantasy Points: 12.5

The Thought: The Vardy party should be in full swing at the King Power this weekend. Vardy has always been very goal dependent, but should see a goal this weekend against a very poor Burnley side. Vardy continues to show age has no effect on him, and is doing everything he can to help a struggling Leicester side. Pivot: Harry Kane
