Fantasy Forecast
Past is prelude, as they say. So, turning to the 26/27 season, we've got Fulham player projections, a key player to target, a player we're staying away from, a lottery ticket or wildcard player, question marks surrounding the club at this moment, an analysis of the Bee's early-season fixtures, and our predicted starting lineup.
26/27 Player Projections
Below, you'll find our season projections for Fulham's fantasy assets. Our projections are created using a number of contributing factors such as historical performances, expected team strength, betting odds and more. ProjPPS (Points Per Start) and ProjFPts (Projected Total Points) refer to Fantrax Default Scoring. The table itself is sorted by WAR (Wins Above Replacement). Put simply, this metric defines how much one player contributes to a win compared to a typically available streamer. The WAR projections are based on our best estimate of player performance and number of starts for the upcoming season converted into WAR values, which is probably the most useful single metric to assess a player's value over a whole season.
Let's be honest with each other before we start. This is not an exciting fantasy team. Fulham finished 11th, which is about as mid-table as mid-table gets, and then they went and lost the two players who actually mattered for your fantasy squad. Harry Wilson, last season's MID13 and the man who took all the set pieces, is off to Leeds. Raúl Jiménez, the FWD14 who led the line, is gone at the end of his contract. Strip those two out and what's left is thin. Fulham have just four players inside our top-150 consensus (Antonee Robinson at 67, Alex Iwobi at 78, Kevin at 116 and Oscar Bobb at 121), which is level with Aston Villa for the fewest of any club outside the promoted three. Read that again. This is a squad you draft lightly.
