Waiver Wire Gameweek 12
Here we outline our Fantasy EPL Gameweek 12 Waiver Wire targets that are 40% rostered (Ros) or below on Fantrax. These players should perform well over the upcoming period!
Destiny Udogie (Ros 25%)
Prospects: The Italian fullback came on for Porro around the 66th minute in Spurs’ fixture against Man United this past weekend and provided an assist, contributing to his 13-point score. Porro received heavy criticism online from Spurs fans after a reportedly dismal performance, completing just 1 of 12 crosses (8% accuracy) and struggling defensively. If Udogie can secure the starting spot, or perhaps shift to the opposite flank to replace Spence, he becomes an intriguing option after the North London Derby, with Spurs entering a more favorable run of fixtures.
Verdict: I would use a low-tier waiver pick or 0-1 FAB to get him.
Emiliano Buendia (Ros 24%)
Prospects: If the Argentine can stay healthy, he’s shown enough evidence that he can be a solid fantasy midfield option this season. A free-kick goal in Villa’s 4–0 win over Bournemouth this past weekend helped Buendia rack up 20 points in just 70 minutes. With Villa seemingly back in form, and a run of fixtures against Leeds, Wolves, and Brighton on the horizon, Buendia could feast.
Verdict: I would use a mid-tier waiver pick or 7-12 FAB to get him.
Nico O'Reilly (Ros 46%)
Prospects: This one’s just a touch over 40% rostered across leagues, but I felt he deserved an inclusion after being left out the past few weeks. The left-back spot at Man City looks to be O’Reilly’s to lose right now. He’s been scoring well lately, and while his ghost points could use a slight boost, he more than makes up for it with a constant threat of goal involvements. He put up 15 points this past weekend at home against Liverpool. City are in form, scoring freely, and have some favorable fixtures ahead.
