We'll be focusing on players that will bring us not only attacking returns or clean sheets, but also those players that score Ghost Points in the sophisticated and statistics based Fantrax Scoring System!

Fantasy EPL Gameweek 37 Sleepers XI

For this article, we use the percentage rostered calculation from Fantrax and Sleeper. Our only rule is that each player we highlight is rostered in 60% of leagues or fewer at the time of writing. Therefore, there's a good chance some of these players will be free agents in your Draft league! As always, we'll take form, fixtures, projected points, and a healthy dose of intuition into account to make our selections.

We might have gotten a bit carried away with our recent success with the Sleepers picks. At least that's the excuse that we are using for our despicable score of 70 FPts in Gameweek 36, especially considering it was a double gameweek. So let's start with the picks that had 2 games. Given how well owned the Man City assets are, we realistically only had Crystal Palace ones to choose from, and so we went with 1 per outfield position. In defence, Canvot started both games and played 90 minutes in each, scoring a total of 11.5 FPts, conceding 2 goals in his first game and 3 in his second. In midfield, Lerma only started the 2nd game, playing 100 minutes across both games, scoring 4.5 FPts. Up top, Brennan Johnson started both games but only played 153 minutes, scoring 10.75 FPts in total. So onto the single gameweek players. Starting again in the defence, Boscagli lost his spot to captain Dunk, resulting in a no-show and Hugo Bueno got subbed off at halftime after conceding 2 goals, scoring -1.5 FPts. It's not all bad news though as our other 2 defenders Maguire (11.75 FPts, 1 clean sheet) and Danso (12 FPts, 1 goal conceded, 1 yellow card) did pretty well. In net, we went with the in-form Sels, who scored 10 FPts despite conceding 1 goal. In midfield, Buendia came off the bench as a sub and scored 1.5 FPts in 16 minutes while Lukic played his full match and scored 4.5 FPts with a yellow card. Finally, up top, Mane scored 5 FPts in 66 minutes. We usually try to go safe with our picks for the following week after such a poor gameweek score, but given it's the end of the season, we're going to take some risks that have potential upside. Stay tuned!

The Sleepers XI table below includes a full team of Starters, as well as 5 Reserves - high-upside players with some question marks around whether they'll start in Gameweek 37. So, keep an eye out when lineups are announced and pick them up if you see them starting, especially if you need to fill a spot on your roster. Read below for the rationale behind each of the Starter selections.

Djordje Petrovic (G, Bournemouth)

If Man City are to have any chance in winning the title, they're going to need to win their next 2 league games and by some margin as well. This should mean that Petrovic is going to have tonnes of shots coming his way, which should naturally translate to saves and fantasy points. For instance, Kelleher dropped 14.5 FPts in a 3-0 loss. This is insane, but given he faced 10 shots and made 7 saves, we're expecting something similar from Petrovic. You definitely shouldn't expect the clean sheet against Haaland and co., but if you're brave enough to accept the risk, you could be handsomely rewarded with around 10 FPts. After all, the Cherries haven't lost their last 16 league games, having kept 6 clean sheets along the way.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka (D, West Ham)

After being benched from Gameweek 32 to 36, AWB was reinstated to the Hammers starting XI against Arsenal and scored decently. 5.25 FPts after conceding once isn't great, but it could have been a lot worse. He's been scoring around 7.8 gPP90, which is decent for your DEF-4/5, however it's his ceiling of 14.6 FPts which is more enticing. AWB and West Ham on a whole haven't had the best of seasons, but the ex-England defender has shown that he does have potential upside to his game. Newcastle have only recently had some positive results, but before their draw and win, they had lost 4 on the trot, which had them as the 16th best team in the league over the past 6 games. The Magpies' wide players haven't been great this season either, so AWB might find some joy against them and rack up defensive ghosts while West Ham try to keep Newcastle at bay.

Jaka Bijol (D, Leeds)

Despite Leeds confirming their status in the Premier League for the 26/27 campaign, we still think Farke is going to continue to push for as high a finish in the table as possible. One player that has been pivotal to his success is Bijol. The Slovenian CB's 10.4 PPS is the best amongst all Leeds defenders, while his 9.0 gPP90 warrants starting him as your DEF-3/4 in any given gameweek. He's shown that he can be a threat from set pieces as well, which explains his ceiling of 16.7 FPts. Leeds are playing at Elland Road this weekend, which is usually an absolute fortress. They've only conceded 2 goals in their last 4 home games, which is the fewest in the league over that timeframe. So despite Brighton's great form in recent weeks, we're expecting a tough game for the Seagulls.

Konstantinos Mavropanos (D, West Ham)

It was crazy to hear that people dropped Mavropanos in leagues this week, and I guess after scores of 6.25 and -2.75 FPts, I can see why, but he scored an own goal in the latter game! Before that, he registered 4 double digit scores, some them being absolutely massive (39.25, 26.5 and 19.25 FPts). He even dropped 15.75 FPts in Gameweek 36, without any attacking returns or clean sheets. His 9.3 PPS is the 2nd best amongst all of his teammates, whilst his ceiling of 18.7 FPts is the best at the club. He's shown that he can get points on both ends of the pitch and West Ham will need that level production in their next 2 games as they need to win both games if they are to stay in the Premier League.

Levi Colwill (D, Chelsea)

After such a long time out due to injury, Colwill is back at the heart of the Chelsea defence, and even completed 90 minutes against Liverpool. The Chelsea CB put up 8.5 FPts against Liverpool, with his points coming from 1 tackle won, 3 interceptions, 6 clearances, 1 blocked shot and 2 aerials. Now there's a chance that he could see a bit of rotation as Chelsea are playing in the FA Cup final against Man City a few days before their league game, but if he's truly fit and firing, then Colwill could line up against Spurs in the Blues' final home game of the season. Chelsea will want nothing more than to help relegate Tottenham, especially after an abysmal season under the Blue Co. ownership.

Timothy Castagne (D, Fulham)

Since returning to the Fulham starting XI against Burnley in Gameweek 31, Castagne has started every game for the cottagers and scored the most fantasy points of all his teammates. Over these 6 games, he's been averaging just under 10 PPS with only 2 clean sheets and no attacking returns either. He's led his teammates in key passes (8), accurate crosses (6) and blocked shots (4). He's even gotten 4 double digit scores in that time, putting up figures such as 14.75, 13, 12 and 10.5 FPts, with the last one including a yellow card. He's facing the worst team in the league this weekend, so it feels like a no-brainer to roll him out as your DEF-3/4. Let's hope there's some upside to come with that possible clean sheet!

Conor Gallagher (M, Tottenham)

Since De Zerbi took over at Spurs, Conor Gallagher seems to be at the heart of everything they've been doing. It's well known that Gallagher's work rate is one of the reasons most managers have always started the Englishman, but RDZ will be hoping for a bit more attacking output from his midfielder. Gallagher only has a goal and an assist to his name since joining the North London club, but this weekend he comes up against his old employers and boyhood club, a place he was once captain. He's played at Stamford Bridge many times, and will fancy his chances of getting an attacking return in his efforts to help Spurs survive the drop. Since his reintroduction to the starting XI, he's been averaging 8.5 PPS and around 9 gPPS, which is great as your MID-4. The Blues have been shocking in defence as well, so this could be a shoot-out.

Mathias Jensen (M, Brentford)

You'd excuse Jensen for his 4 FPts against Man City, as they're one of the toughest matchups in the game to get any points against. However, against Crystal Palace, I'd definitely be rolling him out as my MID-4. Prior to the Man City fixture, Jensen put up 4 double digit scores in a row (11.25, 10, 18.5 and 12 FPts), scoring only 1 goal during that run. This ghost point production is very impressive and he's been at the heart beat of everything good that Brentford have done recently, which shows through his key passes as he got 9 of them during that 4 game spell, the most of all Brentford outfielders. There's a good chance that Crystal Palace also rotate their squad after the double gameweek. The Eagles have been the worst form team in the league over the last 4, winning 0 and conceding 11 goals, the most in the league.

Harvey Barnes (M, Newcastle)

Did you know that Harvey Barnes has the 2nd most goals for Newcastle in the league? He's also the 2nd highest scorer for the Magpies with 16 goals across all competitions, only 1 behind Anthony Gordon, who seems to be on his way out of the club. It's a shame that Barnes has hardly played this season, but if you're going to back a Newcastle attacker in their final home game of the season, I'd back Barnes. He's now scored off the bench in back-to-back sub appearances and could be rewarded with a start this weekend. West Ham will have to attack as they badly need to score goals to try and win the game, which could leave them exposed at the back and susceptible to counter attacks. This situation would suit Barnes perfectly, so if you have space for a MID-4/5 punt, I'd gamble.

Kevin (F, Fulham)

According to our Fixture Difficulty Tracker, Fulham forwards have the 3rd best rated fixture, which makes sense as they're playing Wolves this weekend. It's a bit concerning that both teams have only scored 1 goal each in their last 4 games, but Wolves have also conceded 8 goals in that same period, which is double of what Fulham have conceded. The bounce from the Rob Edwards era has completely disappeared and he's now started to blame the players for their poor results. This can only end badly for the West Midlands team. So you'll certainly want to back some Fulham attackers, especially for their final home game of the season. Kevin is fit again and his appearance off the bench in Gameweek 36 was very promising. His 7.5 FPts in 28 minutes included a shot on target, 2 tackles won and 4 successful dribbles. Expect Marco Silva to change his lineup to inject some positive results into their league form.

Pablo Felipe (F, West Ham)

West Ham will be absolutely gutted with the VAR decision that went against them in their 1-0 loss to Arsenal in Gameweek 36. It's no surprise that they went to a back-5 formation against the league leaders, given it nearly paid off as well. However, we expect them to return to a back-4 formation, as they basically need to win their final 2 games of the season if they to have any chance of surviving relegation. Pablo was sacrificed for the tactical change, but we expect him to start against Newcastle on the weekend. He's not scored in the league for the Hammers yet, so now would be a great time for him to get off the mark. He's also played a bit of a support striker role to Taty, and that's translated to ghost points. In games against the likes of Brentford and Wolves, he put up 5 key passes in total, getting an assist against the latter. Newcastle's home form hasn't been stellar either, conceding 17 goals in their last 8 home games, which is only fewer than Spurs.
