Waiver Wire Gameweek 13

Here we outline our Fantasy EPL Gameweek 13 Waiver Wire targets that are 40% rostered (Ros) or below on Fantrax. These players should perform well over the upcoming period!

Kristoffer Ajer (Ros 8%)

Prospects: They’re calling it the year of the defender, and Ajer is quietly adding to the narrative with his recent scores. The Norwegian is averaging 10 points per start over his last five outings, which have been his only starts of the season. He’s been deployed at left back, and while there is some risk of Hickey reclaiming the spot next week against Burnley (subbed on for Ajer in the 80th minute), I don’t mind the pickup even as a one-week stream. If Hickey does get the start, he’s also a solid add moving forward, aside from facing Arsenal in Gameweek 14.

Verdict: I would use a low-tier waiver pick or 0-1 FAB to get him

Piero Hincapié (Ros 35%)

Prospects: After loads of debate over whether Hincapié or Mosquera would get the nod, it was the Ecuadorian who earned the start in the North London Derby. The former Leverkusen defender was unlucky not to come away with a clean sheet, along with nearly a 5-point ghost performance, which likely left gambling managers wanting a bit more. Still, he’s the direct replacement for Gabriel, who is set to miss 1–2 months. Hincapié remains a threat on Arsenal’s set pieces and will almost always be favored for clean sheets. After Chelsea next week at the Bridge, the fixtures look very attractive for the Gunners’ back line. Will he score like Gabriel? Probably not, but you can still expect Saliba-esque production, so set your bids accordingly.

Verdict: I would use a low-tier waiver pick or 7-10 FAB to get him

Vitalii Mykolenko (Ros 43%)

Prospects: I’m aware the Ukrainian wingback sits a bit above the 40% roster mark, but best believe this is the lowest you’ll see it for the rest of the season. It hasn’t been the usual campaign for Mykolenko after averaging nearly 9 FP/G across his last two years. He’s sitting closer to 6 per match at the moment, but the trend is firmly upward with returns of 8, 13.5, and 10 in his last three outings. Aside from a looming back-to-back London weekend against Chelsea and Arsenal, Everton’s schedule looks solid as they aim to build on their second straight win. Mykolenko has gone 90 minutes in all but one fixture this season.
