Waiver Wire Gameweek 24
Here we outline our Fantasy EPL Gameweek 24 Waiver Wire targets that are 40% rostered (ROS) or below on Fantrax. These players should perform well over the upcoming period!
Ola Aina (Ros 27%)
Prospects: The Nigerian international has now started four straight matches after not featuring since August due to injury. He hasn’t scored lower than six points in that span and nearly hit 20 this past weekend with an assist and a clean sheet against Brentford. Defenders may be a dime a dozen, but Aina’s current run of form, combined with Forest’s favorable upcoming fixtures, piques my interest, at least in the short-term.
Verdict: I would use a low-tier waiver pick or 0-1 FAB to get him
Oscar Bobb (Ros 20%)
Prospects: The young City winger has been rumored with a move to Craven Cottage this window. If he’s fit (and Pep seemed to imply he's only injured because he says he's injured), I think he could immediately compete for a starting role (on the wing or at attacking mid), especially given the reported fee being paid. When he’s been given opportunities, he’s proven to be a solid fantasy scorer. My only concern is the hamstring injury that’s kept him out of City squads for over a month, but if Fulham are pushing to sign him, he may be close to a return. His move will likely be completed near your waiver run early this week and he's obviously already in the system.
Verdict: I would use a low-tier waiver pick or 4-5 FAB to get him. Mids are hard to come by and I wouldn't mind going as high as 7-10 if you're weak in the position.
Amine Adli (Ros 8%)
Prospects: The Moroccan scored the winner at home against Liverpool over the weekend, and I expect him to continue playing off the wing for the Cherries, due to Semenyo leaving and Tavernier and Kluivert being injured. He’s averaging roughly 13 points per start, though that Liverpool haul was boosted by a goal, and now faces an incredibly favorable run of fixtures over the next few weeks. Let’s see if the Cherries can rediscover some form after their dreadful pre-January run, and whether Adli can capitalize on it.
Verdict: I would use a low-tier waiver pick or 2-3 FAB to get him
