Waiver Wire Gameweek 26
Here we outline our Fantasy EPL Gameweek 26 Waiver Wire targets that are 40% rostered (ROS) or below on Fantrax. These players should perform well over the upcoming period!
Jadon Sancho (Ros 15%)
Prospects: That’s a fourth straight start for Sancho, and across his last two fixtures he’s averaging 11.25 fantasy points, including an assist in the draw against Bournemouth. He rarely sees out the full match, typically getting pulled around the 70-minute mark, but the starts are coming consistently in Emery’s side (largely due to their many injuries). Villa’s upcoming fixtures are solid, and perhaps a revival is on the cards for the England international. The next three for Villa are Brighton and Leeds at home before a trip to Wolves.
Verdict: I would use a low-tier waiver pick or 2-3 FAB to get him
Angel Gomes (Ros 7%)
Prospects: Gomes has wandered Europe since leaving United in 2020 but is now back to bolster the creative side of the Wolves midfield, likely with an eye toward a Championship stint next season. He logged nearly 80 minutes on his debut and still managed close to 10 fantasy points, all from ghosts, including two key passes, and this came in a 3–1 loss to Chelsea. It is a very small sample size, but if he can produce that kind of return against top-tier opposition, he is at least worth a speculative pickup to see how his numbers translate against less threatening sides. Whether he gets 2 starts in Wolves 2 fixtures this DGW26 remains to be seen, and may depend on Andre's continued injury absence, but he'll likely start at least 1, given his impressive performance in GW25.
Verdict: I would use a low-tier waiver pick or 0-1 FAB to get him
Rayan Vitor SimplÃcio Rocha (Ros 43%)
Prospects: Ok Rayan! The young Brazilian winger made an off-the-bench appearance against Wolves last gameweek and managed an assist. This week he was rewarded with a start and logged 86 minutes. His 16 fantasy points were driven mostly by the goal he scored, which came courtesy of some genuinely dreadful defending from Digne and Villa. Still, it’s a promising start for those who invested in Rayan. I like the Cherries’ schedule and expect him to continue starting going forward. If he wasn’t claimed in your league, he’s well worth picking up, as his % Rostered is sitting just above 40 at the moment.
Verdict: I would use a mid-tier waiver pick or 10-15 FAB to get him
