We ain’t afraid of no ghosts. In fact, we seek them – ghost points, that is. Ghost points are fantasy points that do not come from attacking returns or clean sheets. These can come in the form of key passes, shots on target, successful dribbles, interceptions, and tackles, among others. Identifying these points is essential for your Fantasy EPL prospects, and our Gameweek 36 Ghost Point Hunters article is here to help!

This Ghost Point Hunters article is based on the Fantrax Scoring System. Check out our Ghost Point Tracker page for the full list of Fantasy EPL players and their respective Ghost Point capabilities!
Gameweek 36 Ghost Point Hunters
Jacob Greaves
Position: Defender
Team: Ipswich Town
Rostered: 6%
Ghost Points Per Start: 7.9
Ghost Points Last GW: 14
Prospects: An early season GPH favorite, Greaves cooled off for most of the season. However, when you got it, you got it. And this lanky mug has it in his locker to ghost. He did just that in GW35 in an admittedly decent matchup v Everton. Greaves dropped 14 ghosties from 5 Tackles Won, 8 Clearances, & 7 Aerials.
This guy is a throwback, a no-nonsense English CB, and he's on a porous defense that keeps him very busy. This is a double edged sword as activity is offset by goals conceded. But for good matchups, Greaves is an attractive proposition. And Ipswich Town has a pretty schedule ROS - Brentford (probably wouldn't start him in this one unless desperate), Leicester (yes, please), and West Ham United (again, yes). For playoff leagues, he is a good punt for GW37/semifinals. Keep that in mind.
Verdict: Pick him up!
Chris Richards
Position: Defender
Team: Crystal Palace
Rostered: 26%
Ghost Points Per Start: 6.8
Ghost Points Last GW: 11
Prospects: He's back. After a red-card and bad form-induced layoff from our fantasy squads, he and the other Palace defenders had a mini-renaissance this past GW. Richards had a very Richards-like performance, posting double digit scary scores, which stemmed from 1 Tackle Won, 1 ACNC, 5 Interceptions, 2 Clearances, & 5 Aerials.
We know what we're getting with Richards. He's a matchup proof, set and forget DEF4 who can get double digits without a clean sheet. Do with that what you will.
Verdict: Pick him up!
Michael Kayode
Position: Defender
Team: Brentford
Rostered: 4%
Ghost Points Per Start: N/A (not enough starts).
Ghost Points Last GW: 11.75
Prospects: The nickname literally writes itself. Michael Kayode, aka "The Coyote", is an exciting transfer that is finally fit and getting opportunities at RB for Brentford. Coming off his third start on the trot, he is going from strength to strength. Last time out, he paired an Assist with 2 Key Passes, 1 Tackle Won, 2 Interceptions, 3 Clearances, 5 Successful Dribbles, & 1 Aerial. This was against relegation fodder, Manchester United, but still impressive.
Is Kayode a flash in the pan or worth relying on for the business end of the fantasy campaign? We think he warrants a punt. He has obvious upside with his attacking prowess, and the Bees have a nice schedule in the run in. We made a similar argument for his teammate, SVDB, last week (and recycled the verdict below). But The Coyote might be an even better stream.
Verdict: Pick him up for the upcoming schedule, particularly if you are in a playoff league. In GWs 36-38, the Bees face Ipswich Town, Fulham, & Wolves - not a bad schedule for a DEF 3/4 that can ghost.
Category Killer Winners:
Key Passes: Bilal El Khannous (5)
Successful Dribbles: Michael Kayode (5)
Aerials: Jacob Greaves (7)
Accurate Crosses Not Corners (ACNCs): Antonee Robinson (3)
Tackles Won: Jacob Greaves (5)
Interceptions: Chris Richards (5)
Dr. Peter Venkman Award:
Matheus Cunha (Wolves FWD; 1.5 ghosts): Oh, Cunha. We absolutely adore this man, but like a feisty toddler, he tests us. The tantrums, the suspensions, and now this. He blanked in a key GW down the stretch, somehow only mustering 1.5 points from 1 Interception & 1 Successful Dribble. Granted, it was tricky matchup at Man City. And he was very unlucky to not nick at least one attacking return - Cunha himself hit the post and so did others off his passes, which oddly enough didn't end up being counted as Key Passes. Nonetheless, it was a stinker, and likely the worst score in his fantasy career. Relax, he'll be fine, and should bounce back with some hauls ROS. But is this performance a sign of things to come if he goes to a worse team in Man United?
