We ain’t afraid of no ghosts. In fact, we seek them – ghost points, that is. Ghost points are fantasy points that do not come from attacking returns or clean sheets. These can come in the form of key passes, shots on target, successful dribbles, interceptions, and tackles, among others. Identifying these points is essential for your Fantasy EPL prospects, and our Gameweek 36 Ghost Point Hunters article is here to help!

This Ghost Point Hunters article is based on the Fantrax Scoring System. Check out our Ghost Point Tracker page for the full list of Fantasy EPL players and their respective Ghost Point capabilities!
Gameweek 36 Ghost Point Hunters
Willy Boly
Position: Defender
Team: Nottingham Forest
Rostered: 26%
Ghost Points Per Start: 9.9
Ghost Points Last GW: 9
Prospects: He's a draft legend. Willy Boly gave us so many lovely memories during his stint at Wolves. The streets will never forget that team. Now back with Nuno Espirito Santo at Forest, he's been injury plagued. It's simple; when he's healthy, he's a fantasy beast. His late August-October stretch this season showed that. But he just hasn't started enough games. Be that as it may, Boly got his first start in over a month this past GW v City. And he was solid. He nearly eclipsed double digit ghosts: 4 Tackles Won, 2 Interceptions, 1 Successful Dribble, 2 Blocked Shots, & 1 Aerial. While he did go off late with a knock, Boly is a must stream over the next two weeks if he is fit (Forest is against Sheffield United & Burnley in GWs 36 & 37. Let's hope he passes a fitness test and continues to roll back the years - just in time for playoffs.
Verdict: Watch the injury updates but pick him up just in case (Ola Aina is a good substitute this GW).
Ryan Gravenberch
Position: Midfielder
Team: Liverpool
Rostered: 15%
Ghost Points Per Start: 4.75
Ghost Points Last GW: 11
Prospects: Liverpool's midfield is famously where fantasy points go to die. Yes, they've had a few decent showings (Curtis Jones/a blind squirrel finds a nut sometimes). So it is with a healthy heaping of skepticism that we highlight Ryan Gravenberch here. He has passed the eye test in different games and certainly played the part over the weekend against West Ham. Grav dropped 11 ghosties from 2 Key Passes, 1 Tackle Won, & 7 Successful Dribbles (!). But we think this is likely an outlier. His GPPS shows he can't ghost consistently and lord knows if he even starts next game. Can you really rely on Grav in the business end of the fantasy season? We say no until proven otherwise.
Verdict: This is probably an aberration/trap. Having said that, he's not a terrible punt if you're in a midfield bind.
Dango Outtarra
Position: Forward
Team: Bournemouth
Rostered: 26%
Ghost Points Per Start: 7
Ghost Points Last GW: 10
Prospects: Back to Bournemouth, the fantasy equivalent of Churchill's quip about the Soviet Union: a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma. We flagged Alex Scott last week, now it's time to circle back with ole Dango. Used at Left Back and Left Wing at various times this season, Outtarra, like most of his Bournemouth teammates, has failed to really piece together consistent performances. After having failed to post more than 5.5 points in his past 4 starts, he did the business, delivering 10 scary scores stemming from 2 Key Passes, 1 Tackle Won, 1 Accurate Cross Not a Corner (ACNC), 5 Interceptions, 1 Clearance, 1 Successful Dribble, & 1 Aerial. Most of the Cherries did relatively well v a very poor Brighton side. With Semenyo picking up yet another knock, Dango should be due to start most of the remaining games. But again, it's Bournemouth, so who really knows?
Verdict: Pick him up (or his colleague Enes Unal) if you need FWD depth but don't start v Arsenal unless you must.
Honorable Mention
Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United MID; 24.5 ghosts): Like him or not - we detest him for what it's worth - he is a ghosting machine when in the mood. And he most certainly has been in the mood of late. He's a top 5 player ROS.
Arijanet Muric (Burnley GK; 20.25 ghosts): That's two weeks in a row with a monster haul for the Bosnian. As we discussed last week, Muric is boom or bust. His ability to drop 20 makes him set and forget despite the flaws.
Wilson Odobert (Burnley FWD; 12.5 ghosts): Have you spotted a theme? Playing against Man United is a fantasy godsend. So many Clarets balled out at Old Trafford. But we don't think this will continue for Odobert.
Dara O'Shea (Burnley DEF; 12.25 ghosts): The Irishman is no stranger to this article. But he's almost impossible to predict. We should have known he'd show out against the struggling Red Devils.
Category Killers:
Key Passes: Bruno Fernandes (9)
Successful Dribbles: Ryan Gravenberch (7)
Aerials: Kai Havertz (8)
Accurate Crosses Not Corners (ACNCs): Ola Aina (3)
Tackles Won: Trevoh Chalobah (5)
Interceptions: Austin Trusty (7)
Dr. Peter Venkman Award:
Heung Min Son (Tottenham FWD; 1.5 ghosts): There were too many Spuds to pick from after their North London Derby loss to Arsenal. James Maddison, who hasn't been seen since October, definitely was high on the list. But we'll go with ole Sonny. The Korean is not ghosting as well as he usually does, as he has been supplanted on set pieces by the aforementioned Maddison and Porro. But his 7.6 GPPS is still good, especially for a FWD largely tasked with scoring goals. Son, however, is in the midst of a dry spell, and right when managers need him to crack on at the crucial point of the season. He is only averaging 3ish ghosts over the past 3 games. He was spared some blushes against Arsenal due to a penalty goal. Aside from that he only mustered 1 Key Pass, which was dented by a dispossession. While Son still has time to get back ghosting and scoring returns - another DGW in GW37 beckons - this is concerning. We might be tempted to test the trade waters depending on what we could get. It's all gone a bit Spursy, hasn't it?
