Waiver Wire Gameweek 38

Here we outline our Fantasy EPL Gameweek 38 Waiver Wire targets that are ~40% rostered (ROS) or below on Fantrax. These players should perform well over the upcoming period!

It has been a pleasure bringing you weekly waiver articles in what has been my debut season with TDS. Big thanks to the TDS staff who stepped in when I was busy or away on holiday, and of course a massive shout out to all the readers as well. This first season has not always been easy when it comes to picking helpful players week in and week out, but I am genuinely excited to take everything I have learned from a full year of writing this column, with the aim to bring it up another level next season.

Bye for now :)

Lewis Dunk (Ros 32%)

Prospects: After missing time since March through injury, Dunk returned last week with a massive 23.5 FPts haul, thanks to a goal and clean sheet against Wolves. I initially thought it was a bit fluky, but those who trusted Dunk were rewarded again with 8 ghost points and nearly another clean sheet in the 0-1 loss to Leeds. I like Brighton quite a bit in their final fixture against a United side with nothing left to play for, while the Seagulls, who posted nearly 3.00 xG against Leeds, are still battling for a European spot.

Verdict: Last game of the season. Spend it all!

Sasa Lukic (Ros 12%)

Prospects: Those who listened to the pod will know that we shouted out Lukic for his recent uptick in set pieces. He took 6 corners in the loss against the Cherries and followed that up with 5 more in the draw with Wolves this week. Marco Silva and co. are still a long shot for Europe this season, but I don’t mind the punt here given Lukic’s near-monopoly on set pieces heading into the home fixture against the Magpies.

Verdict: Last game of the season. Spend it all!

Mateus Mané (Ros 34%)

Prospects: If you know, you surely know. On the off chance this kid is somehow still available in your league, go grab him ASAP. He burst onto the scene earlier this season, both in real life and for fantasy, and while things cooled off for a stretch, he’s really kicked it up a notch down the final leg of the campaign, averaging around 12 points per start across his last four appearances. A no-holds-barred fixture in the final gameweek against Burnley makes him a fantastic fantasy play for your potential season finale.

Verdict: Last game of the season. Spend it all!
